I am a software engineer at Cloudflare, where I work on core ML and data engineering for our security products – namely, Bots.
Previously, I was a tech lead on the security infrastructure and core services teams at X (fka ), where I helped take XChat (fka Encrypted DMs) from protocol design to launch. Before that, I was an engineer at Workday building its analytics engine and web server infrastructure.
I completed my master’s from the Viterbi school of engineering at the University of Southern California in December 2021 and my bachelor’s from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2019.
My interests lie at the intersection of privacy-preserving protocols, ML, distributed systems, and AI alignment and safety – with a particular focus on measuring, understanding, and securing an increasingly agentic internet.
I received the 2022 CSCI Best Research Award for my work exploring privacy-preserving entity resolution with fully homomorphic encryption while at the Networking & Cybersecurity Group at ISI, advised by Prof. Srivatsan Ravi. USC Viterbi wrote about that work here.
